MOSCOWDec 30 – Sovecon, a leading firm in the Black Sea grain industry, said on Friday it had raised its forecast for Russian wheat exports for the 2022/23 season by 200,000 tonnes to 44.1 million tonnes.
Sovecon expects record or near-record monthly export volumes in the second half of the July-June season.
Shipments from Russia will be supported by relatively high world prices, a weakening ruble and pressure from record stocks in the domestic market.
